George had 20 years and Marlena served 13 years. Marlena’s specialties include training self-image building and positive thinking for children, childcare professionals, and parents. Having spent years working so closely with children, she is utilizing her knowledge to write children’s books. In addition to providing her skills at Little People Day Care, Inc., Mrs. Bansa was also the administrator, executive director, and owner of Genuine Care Home Care from 2008-2012. Genuine Care was created for an intergenerational program for children and seniors.

Ms. Bansa has spoken about childcare and development as a guest on CNBC News and has been included in articles in newspapers and magazines. Looking towards the future, she sees her work as never-ending and is currently seeking education in Christian study to counsel others in her retirement. Throughout all her successes, she has long been motivated by the motto, “Try to live your life by example.” She says, “I want to change the world, one child at a time, one teacher at a time, and one parent at a time.” The children are our future! We are happy to serve the community and provide quality care and enhanced learning abilities to our children on a daily basis.
